The Baer legacy began over 40 years ago in 1982, with the quest to create a comfortable pair of shoes that promised pain free walking. Our founder Christian Baer along with his wife Hilke started making high quality shoes with wider than usual toe boxes that fit the natural shape of the foot. Thus began BAER’s trademark 100% toe freedom.

Today Baer shoes are sold across 23 stores in Germany and around the world, through our website.
